Show Yourself
I don’t really understand what this site is about, but I like the fact I see the writer upfront. Why is it so hard to find photos of the people “behind the blogs“? I know we’re not all fashion models - but adding a photo of yourself adds some realism, trust and friendliness to a site that can’t be done with words alone…

Hey, http://cmdstud.khlim.be/~tvrolix/case_prema.1/wtf.html actually tells you what the site is about. Thanks for linking. Tijs

Yeah, I gotta agree with that. That’s why I started including my photo in my personal blog even though it’s only a vectorized version of me. In my opinion, the author’s face can really give a rough idea about the author’s personality to the reader. Don’t you think?
I agree - even including things like a flickr link to get a glimpse of your life (friends, family, location, etc…) - all helps readers get a better feel who you are. Sort of like making sure you care for the characters in a movie to pull you into the story.
I’m reasonably sure there’s a picture of my on my about page, but I don’t know how far beyond that I’d be willing to go; helping readers get a better feel for who you are is all very well, but I’m not sure I want to make it easier for them to stalk me…
